A TASTE
OF HEALING

Trauma & Relationship Therapy
in NYC could be right for you if…

You carry experiences that have shaped how you relate to yourself and others.
Therapy can offer a space to reconnect with yourself, rebuild self-trust, and navigate relationships with greater clarity:

You’re not sure what you need
or how to say what you need.

You want to understand yourself
and be understood, but conversations
can quickly turn into defensiveness, misunderstandings, silence, or frustration.

You feel disconnected
from yourself

You’re tired of second-guessing
your feelings, decisions,
or instincts.

You have a hard time
staying present.

You find yourself checking out, feeling
detached, or struggling to stay connected
during conversations, moments of intimacy,
conflict, or situations that feel vulnerable.

You keep having
the same patterns in your relationships.

Different situation, same argument,
reaction, or dynamic, and you’re not sure
how to change it.

You’re unsure
what’s yours to carry.

You find it difficult to separate
your own feelings and needs from
the expectations and emotions
of the people around you.

You have a hard time
letting people in.

You want closeness, but vulnerability,
trust, or depending on someone else
can feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

Therapy can be a place to…

✔ Trust yourself without constantly second-guessing your decisions or seeking reassurance from others
✔ Know what you feel and need and feel more comfortable saying it
✔ Stay grounded when things feel uncomfortable instead of shutting down, checking out, avoiding, overthinking, becoming overwhelmed, or reacting on autopilot
✔ Create relationships that have room for everyone’s needs, differences, and boundaries
✔ Feel more grounded in who you are and more confident in how you move through the world
✔ Understand the patterns you keep falling into and find new ways of responding to yourself and others

Meet your Trauma and Relationship Therapists in NYC

I am an EMDRIA-certified and IFS/IFIO informed trauma and couples therapist who helps people rebuild self-trust and connection after trauma and loss. Together, we’ll work on helping you reconnect with your body and emotions, trust your thoughts and reactions, recognize and honor your needs, and feel more confident in your choices and relationships.
I bring extensive experience providing LGBTQ+ affirming care and I welcome clients who are exploring their gender identity, sexuality, relationship dynamics, or simply looking for a therapist who offers knowledgeable and affirming support. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in connection and in community. I strive to create a warm, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where all clients’ identities are seen, understood, and supported as they explore their experiences, strengthen their relationships, and move toward meaningful change.
Outside the therapy room, I love spending time with animals, especially dogs, enjoying just about any kind of chocolate, dancing, learning new languages, getting lost in a good book, and listening to the same song on repeat until I discover my next favorite.
If this resonates, reach out for a free consultation. I look forward to connecting and hearing from you!

EMDR Therapy in NYC

Work with an EMDRIA Certified Therapist

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a type of therapy that helps your brain process experiences that may still feel “stuck,” reducing their emotional impact and the ways they may affect how you relate to yourself and others. It can help you feel more grounded, confident, and present in yourself and your relationships.

With EMDR, you don’t have to repeatedly rehash or relive painful experiences, and you don’t need to have experienced a major trauma for it to be helpful.

EMDR may be helpful if you’re experiencing:

  • Flashbacks or feeling easily triggered

  • Anxiety, panic, or constantly feeling overwhelmed

  • Difficulty trusting yourself, your own judgment, or your emotions

  • Relationship patterns that keep repeating

  • Fear of rejection, abandonment, or being hurt

  • Difficulty setting boundaries or speaking up for yourself

  • Feeling unsafe even when you know you’re okay

  • Constant rumination and spirals about “what ifs”

  • Shame, self-doubt, or negative beliefs about yourself

  • Difficulty trusting or connecting with others

Therapy for Trauma and PTSD

Trauma can continue to shape how we feel, think, and respond long after an experience has passed. Therapy provides a safe space to understand these patterns, process difficult experiences, and build a greater sense of safety and control. Together, we’ll gently explore what feels stuck without requiring you to relive what happened, while developing tools to regulate your nervous system and feel more grounded, connected, and present.

 Grief Therapy

Other Therapy Services

Grief can affect every part of us, and there is no single right way to move through it. Our work will provide space to process your loss, make sense of the emotions that come with it, and gently adjust to life as it changes. Together, we’ll honor what you’ve lost while making room for healing, connection, and finding a way forward that feels true to you and your experiences.

LGBTQI+ Therapy

Finding a therapist who understands, respects, and affirms your identity can make a difference. Therapy offers space to explore identity, relationships, and experiences that can come with navigating the world as an LGBTQI+ person. Together, we’ll explore how these experiences have shaped you while creating space for self-trust, confidence, and authenticity. Whether you’re navigating identity, coming out, or family relationships, therapy can help you feel truly seen and supported.

IFS therapy

We all hold different parts of ourselves that may keep us stuck or get in the way of being who we genuinely are. In IFS therapy, we’ll approach these parts with curiosity and compassion, exploring the purpose they serve and what they may be trying to protect. Together, we can help these parts feel safer and heal the more vulnerable parts underneath, creating more space for clarity, confidence, and choice.

Couples Therapy

Our work will help you better understand the patterns that emerge between you, especially during conflict, hurt, or disconnection. Together, we’ll explore what may be happening beneath these patterns and how each of you may be protecting yourselves, creating space for greater understanding and compassion. We’ll work toward communicating needs more openly, listening with curiosity, and feeling more secure, connected, and supported in your relationship.

Family Therapy

Our work will help you and your family better understand the patterns that shape your family relationships and create more space for connection, communication, and understanding. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath conflict, hurt, or disconnection and develop new ways of relating to one another. The goal is to help each person feel heard and supported while creating healthier, more connected relationships.
